The Champion Cadet Competition is an annual event that brings together Army Cadets, both ACF and CCF, from different regions of the UK to compete against each other in a range of challenging activities. The competition includes a variety of physical and mental challenges, such as obstacle courses, navigation exercises, and leadership tasks. The cadets are judged on their teamwork, communication, physical fitness, and problem-solving abilities.
The event is designed to help cadets develop important skills and qualities that will serve them well in their future careers and personal lives. The competition is highly regarded within the Army Cadets, and winning the title of Champion Cadet is a great achievement for any cadet. Both organisations compete annually for a number of awards, including the Captain General's Trophy for the CCF and the Claire Shore Trophy for the ACF. These trophies are highly coveted and are awarded to the most outstanding cadets in each organisation.
