The generosity of A Company has gone above and beyond for their chosen charity Hebburn Helps. Over the past two months, detachments have supported the initiative through food donations and made a real difference. Understanding the importance of community support, they have provided food and essentials to those in need this Christmas Season.

B Company

B Company delivers joy this Christmas through supporting the Dunelm Christmas Campaign.

The Adults and Cadets from Birtley Detachment have helped brighten the days of some of the most vulnerable members of the community by donating a special gift. The remarkable campaign has enabled the cadets to select a tag from a Christmas Tree located in their local Dunelm store and surprise a recipient with their desired gift this Christmas.

D Company

D Company has focused their efforts on collecting for the ‘if you care share’ foundation. All detachments across D Company donated sweets and selection boxes to be shared to those who work closely with the foundation. These contributions will make a difference to those most in need.

These compassionate efforts by all Companies, exemplify the dedication and generosity of the cadets and volunteers. Each initiative not only brings joy and relief to those in need but also fosters a sense of unity and community spirit during the festive season.

The Band & Bugles of Durham ACF

This year, the Band & Bugles brought the community together with music by putting on joyful display, as they hosted their Annual Christmas Concert at St Cuthbert’s RC Church in Chester-le-street. The concert was led by the young cadets who carried out their own research and played solos to their family, friends and members of community. A true demonstration of the importance of music throughout the festive season.
