Army Cadets UK International Exchange 2026 Continues with Adventure in North Wales

The Army Cadets UK International Exchange 2026 is continuing to provide unforgettable opportunities for young people, with Cadet RSM Hunter and Cadet CSM MacDonald enjoying an action-packed programme in the stunning surroundings of North Wales.

Throughout the exchange, both cadets have embraced every challenge, developing leadership, resilience, teamwork, and confidence while experiencing a wide range of adventurous activities and cultural visits.

Adventure Training in North Wales

Adventure training remains at the heart of the Army Cadets UK International Exchange 2026, giving participants the chance to challenge themselves in new environments while building lifelong skills.

During their time in North Wales, Cadet RSM Hunter and Cadet CSM MacDonald have taken part in:

Alongside the outdoor adventure programme, the cadets have also explored the rich history of North Wales.

A visit to Caernarfon Castle and the Royal Welch Fusiliers Museum provided a fascinating insight into Britain’s military heritage and the history of one of the Army’s most distinguished infantry regiments. The experience complemented the practical elements of the exchange by helping cadets understand the traditions and legacy that continue to inspire today’s Armed Forces community.
