QAVS Award

Sussex ACF were one of the 2020 recipients of the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service.

The QAVS is the highest award given to local volunteer groups across the UK to recognise outstanding work done in their own communities. It was created in 2002 to celebrate the anniversary of The Queen's coronation. It is the MBE for volunteer groups.

You can get involved:

We are always looking for new cadets and adult volunteers to join our County.

If you are a young person aged 12 or over (and in school year 8 or above) there is a detachment near you where new friendships and exciting new challenges await.

We are also looking for adult volunteers to join our team of committed instructors. No prior experience is necessary.
