With over 1000 cadets and in excess 200 adult volunteers across 25 locations in Sussex, there is something in Sussex ACF for everyone.
Sussex Army Cadet Force has 25 detachments across Sussex.
The county is split into 5 Companies:
A Company - East Sussex
B Company - West Sussex
C Company - North Sussex
D Company - Central Sussex and Brighton and Hove
E Company - HQ Company that hosts the Corps of Drums, Signals Platoon, KitKar Display Team, Adventurous Training and Duke of Edinburgh Scheme amongst other activities.
Our Headquarters are in Brighton within the grounds of the Army Reserve Centre on Dyke Road. It is home to our Permanent Support Staff and the Cadet Force Adult Volunteer (CFAV) Head Quarters Command team.
Wherever you live in Sussex, there is a detachment near you.

Sussex ACF were one of the 2020 recipients of the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service.
The QAVS is the highest award given to local volunteer groups across the UK to recognise outstanding work done in their own communities. It was created in 2002 to celebrate the anniversary of The Queen's coronation. It is the MBE for volunteer groups.

We are always looking for new cadets and adult volunteers to join our County.
If you are a young person aged 12 or over (and in school year 8 or above) there is a detachment near you where new friendships and exciting new challenges await.
We are also looking for adult volunteers to join our team of committed instructors. No prior experience is necessary.
