Merseyside Army Cadets is a vibrant youth organisation offering adventurous, developmental and community‑focused opportunities to young people across the region. With 28 detachments located from Southport and Bootle to St Helens and Hoylake on the Wirral, #teamMACF cadets take part in camps, CVQO BTEC qualifications, adventurous training and a wide range of county activities that make our community proud.

Last year, cadets travelled to Barry Buddon in North East Scotland for our annual camp, where they tackled STEM challenges, team‑building activities, a demanding fieldcraft exercise and a gruelling navigation task that pushed their skills and confidence to new heights.

We are proudly based at Altcar Training Camp, where most weekends we deliver high‑quality training and provide exciting opportunities for cadets to learn, grow and thrive.
