This past week saw a visit from Greater Manchester Police Tactical Firearms Unit Specialists Operations, is a very busy unit. They took some time out of their day to visit Bury Detachment.
Cadets from Radcliffe Detachment attended with Bury Detachment and had a very interesting talk from the police officers. They talked to the cadets about the important work they do around Greater Manchester. The cadets then had the opportunity to ask questions and look at some of the equipment the officers use in their daily work
As cadets they learn how to shoot as part of their cadet experience and the importance of the safety and respect when handling weapons.
