The Cycle Fit Mountain Bike Maintenance course is a practical training programme designed for riders who want to develop essential skills in maintaining and repairing their mountain bikes. Aimed at both recreational and more experienced cyclists, the course focuses on helping participants understand their bike’s components and perform routine checks, adjustments, and repairs to keep it running smoothly and safely on the trails. Key topics typically include brake and gear adjustments, puncture repairs, chain care, and basic troubleshooting. The course is administered by MIAS; a respected organisation specialising in cycle training and mechanical skills and is delivered by qualified cycling instructors or mechanics. The training provides riders with the confidence and knowledge to care for their bikes and reduce the risk of mechanical issues during their adventures.
