How to register for MyCadet

All primary Next of Kin with an email on our system should have received a registration email. If not, please speak with your detachment commander to have the registration email resent.

Please note that to verify your account, we must have your most up-to-date postcode and relationship to your cadet(s) on our system. Your cadet’s detachment staff can check and update this for you.

MyCadet has several functionalities, including:

Keep your cadet’s medical needs, medications, and dietary requirements up to date.

View details about activities your cadet wishes to attend and give consent digitally.

Access information about all the activities your cadet is participating in.

Notify your cadet’s unit if they will be absent from a parade night.

Track your cadet’s progress and see the qualifications they have achieved.

Stay up to date with unit news and activity bookings.

Online Payments are now being rolled out via the MyCadet app. There are a range of benefits, including:
  • No more carrying cash, which reduces the risk of loss or theft
  • Payments are made through a secure online platform
  • Due dates, outstanding balances, and payment history available online, with automatic reminders
  • Option to select and pay for multiple cadets and activities
  • Relevant discounts, such as for those on Free School Meals, are automatically applied
Please note this is being rolled out on a county-by-county basis, and you will be notified when it is live for your detachment.

Accessing MyCadet once you have registered

Once you have registered, you are able to save the app to your phone, tablet or computer desktop using the cloud and arrow icon in the top right of the app.

If you haven’t received the registration email

  1. If you haven’t received the registration email, please check your junk or spam folders, it may have ended up there.
  2. If you still have not received the email, please speak to your cadet’s detachment commander. They will check your email is correct on our system. They can resend the invitation if required.
  3. If you still have not received the email, contact our helpdesk via https://helpdesk.cadetnet.mod.uk.


Responsible for Multiple Cadets?

If you are responsible for multiple cadets, you will receive an email to register for each cadet. Once registered, you can manage all your cadets under one login.
