Youth United Foundation Historic England Scoping Project

Cadets Branch HQ are seeking two Cadets interested in protecting our heritage and to represent the Army Cadets UK. The selected Cadets will become part of the subgroup of the youth panel at Youth United Foundation and will be directly involved in shaping and developing this project.

The aim is to inform and influence the development and design of opportunities, activity and projects in YUF member organisations, that will engage young people in valuing and protecting our heritage.

Cadet Requirements

  • 16-18 years-old
  • Previous experience and keen interest in Heritage and Heritage projects within their member organisation
  • You will be asked to attend an initial 1 hour virtual meeting as an Army Cadets UK representative.
  • Following this in the next 3 months you will take part in online surveys, 1-2 further virtual meetings, and one event day in person.

Any interested Cadets should complete application form (see below) and send to RC-Cdts-0Mailbox@mod.gov.uk, stating why they would be the ideal candidate for such the role. All emails to be marked FAO Penny Dougherty and Sandra Hodgson. Deadline is Friday 8 July 2022.
