This year the Army Cadet Force is proud to be supporting One Run Global – a worldwide event where thousands of people from across the world’s 195 countries will take part in a global relay over the course of 24 hours.

This year’s run takes place on Saturday 16 October and is open to all Cadets and CFAVs. All you need to do to join the fun is walk or run for one hour from 9am local time.

Speaking ahead of the initiative, National Ambassador Sally Orange said, "This is a fantastic opportunity for both Cadets and CFAVs to unite with thousands of runners from all across the planet in a giant celebration of humanity.

"One of the most beautiful things about our planet is that we are all different and One Run Global wholeheartedly celebrates this and are on a mission to spread love and joy around the entire globe. What's not to like about such a fun project that EVERYONE can get involved in?"

One Run founder, Danny Bent added, "Humans are incredible and are capable of so much kindness and love. Never is this more apparent than when we unite for a common goal.

"One Run Global Relay is one such cause. Bringing together people from every country in the world to run as one - all in the name of global unity.

"I'm so proud to be organising this event along side cofounder and friend, Jamie Hay, and an absolutely brilliant team that care about this beautiful planet we call our own.
