SMI Debbie Callaghan, County PRO Greater Manchester ACF
Greater Manchester ACF have recently introduced the Commandants Coin. The coins are a reward for service above and beyond, and behind each one is an individual story.
The first recipients to receive the Commandants Coin are SI Robert Ryan and PI Chloe Kitchener, No 4 (Korea) Company. The nominations came from their Company Commander, Major Steve Wright.
Major Wright said:
"They have both worked tirelessly in the planning and delivery of the remote training sessions for Sale and Flixton Detachment cadets, despite the difficulties over the past 15 months.
This has been in conjunction with greater pressure on their professional lives, as both are key workers. They have been great role models for the cadets and demonstrated selfless commitment by the bucket load, and would be truly deserving of a commandant's coin".
Both received a personal handwritten letter from our Commandant, Col Catherine Harrison, along with their coin.
