REMEMBERING, SUPPORTING & GIVING BACK
Auchterarder Cadets have been making a difference in their local community. Through their support for the Poppy Appeal, they have shown the importance of remembrance, kindness and helping others.
From collecting donations to visiting local care home residents, the cadets have been putting community spirit into action.
Supporting the Poppy Appeal in Auchterarder
Cadets from Auchterarder Detachment took to the streets to support the Poppy Appeal. They helped collect donations and offered poppies to local residents.
Their efforts helped support this important cause. More importantly, volunteering gave the cadets a chance to show respect, responsibility and a commitment to their community.
Sharing Remembrance at Parkdale Care Home
The cadets also visited Parkdale Care Home. During their visit, they handed out poppies and spent time chatting with residents.
It was a simple but meaningful gesture. In addition, the visit brought different generations together and gave the cadets an opportunity to show kindness and respect.
These small acts can make a big difference. They also remind us that remembrance is about people, their stories and the sacrifices made by others.
A Well-Earned Reward!
After a busy morning of volunteering, the cadets received a well-deserved treat!
A bacon roll and a brew were waiting for them. Certainly, it was a great way to round off a morning spent supporting their local community!
Proud to Serve. Proud to Remember.
A huge well done to all the Auchterarder Cadets and Adult Volunteers involved.
Their enthusiasm, generosity and willingness to give up their time are a credit to the detachment. Furthermore, their actions show the positive contribution Army Cadets make in communities across Perthshire and Fife.
Being a cadet is about much more than training and adventure. It is also about building confidence, developing character and learning to care for others.
Above all, it is about putting our values into action and making a difference.
We are proud to serve our communities, remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice and play our part in making a difference.
Be More. Do More. Achieve More.
