Full Throttle E Company First Aid

E Company cadets and CFAVs took part in a First Aid Refresher led by SSgt Thompson, building confidence, teamwork and practical emergency response skills through theory and scenarios.

Cadets and CFAVs from E Company took part in the company’s first First Aid Refresher.

SSgt Thompson, the Company First Aid Training Advisor, led the day. He delivered a mix of classroom learning and practical activities. This gave cadets the chance to refresh their knowledge and use their skills in realistic first aid scenarios.

During the training, cadets assessed each scene, gave care to their casualty, and arranged the right help. They worked together throughout the day and showed good teamwork and clear communication. The activities also helped them stay calm and make safe decisions under pressure.

The refresher also gave CFAVs the chance to update their own knowledge and support training across the company.

The day was a success and received positive feedback from those who took part. E Company now plans to make the First Aid Refresher a regular part of its training programme.
