A New Journey Begins for Auchterarder Cadet
A new chapter is beginning for Cadet Staff Sergeant Robert Draffen, as Auchterarder Detachment recently said farewell to him before he begins an exciting new journey with the Army Foundation College.
Robert has made a significant contribution during his time with the Army Cadets, demonstrating commitment, leadership and dedication throughout his Cadet journey. Now, he is ready to take the next step towards his future career.
A Journey Built on Commitment
During his time with Auchterarder Detachment, Robert has developed valuable skills and experiences that will help him meet the challenges ahead.
Furthermore, his progression to Cadet Staff Sergeant reflects the commitment and leadership he has demonstrated. The Army Cadet experience provides young people with opportunities to develop confidence, teamwork, discipline and leadership, while also creating friendships and memories that can last a lifetime.
As Robert moves on to the next stage of his journey, the staff and cadets at Auchterarder Detachment can be proud of everything he has achieved.
A Lasting Memento
To mark the occasion and provide a lasting reminder of his time with the Cadets, Robert was presented with a specially prepared display frame by Captain P Cameron.
The frame contains his rank slides, cap badge and stable belt, creating a personal memento of his achievements and the time he has spent as a member of the Army Cadets.
It is a fitting reminder of the journey he has completed so far—and the many experiences that have helped prepare him for what comes next.
Looking Towards the Future
As Robert begins his time at the Army Foundation College, everyone at Auchterarder Detachment wishes him every success for the future.
Although his Cadet journey is changing, the values, friendships, confidence and experiences he has gained will remain with him as he takes on new challenges.
