City of London & North East Sector Army Cadets is dedicated to providing a dynamic, inclusive, and high-quality experience for both Cadets and Cadet Force Adult Volunteers.
Our mission is to nurture confident, capable, and resilient individuals who contribute positively to our communities and beyond. We are committed to fostering an environment where wellbeing is prioritised, diversity is celebrated, and every cadet and volunteer is empowered to thrive.
Through progressive and challenging training, strong leadership, and a focus on personal development, we create meaningful opportunities that enable individuals to unlock and maximise their full potential.

MEET THE TEAMS
Col W A Adams
Cadet Commandant
Colonel Wendy Adams joined the Army Cadet Force (ACF) with the City of London and North-East Sector (COLNES) ACF some 40 years ago. She commissioned in the ACF during this time and is a vastly experienced Cadet Force Adult Volunteer (CFAV) who has held most appointments in the organisation, including additional support roles enabling the ACF experience. Colonel Wendy holds the Cadet Force Medal with four clasps. Colonel Wendy is an active and supportive ambassador of the Cadet Forces and fully advocates its benefits to the Cadets, the Adult Volunteers and the communities.

What Cadets did for me?
Colour Sgt Thorne I joined the cadets because I was hanging around with the wrong crowd at school, making bad decisions and going down the wrong path. Since joining the cadets, I have gained ambition, drive, and respect.
