Regional Success for Cadets from LNR ACF in the National Rugby Championship

Last month, eight cadets from across LNR ACF proudly represented the Eastern Region and their county at the National Rugby Sevens Championship held at Altcar.

Despite missing out on a regional competition due to bad weather, the selected cadets showcased exceptional skill and sportsmanship at the national level.

LNR ACF has a proud history of competing in national sporting events, and this year was no exception. Competing against Army Cadet teams from all over the country, our cadets participated in both Junior اور Senior Boys teams. The Junior Boys team secured an impressive 2nd place overall, while the Senior Boys team achieved a strong 3rd place finish.

The following cadets played for the England teams and will be awarded National Colours:

Junior Boys

  • Cdt Randell – Glen Parva, B (Tiger) Squadron
  • Cdt Dunmore – Lutterworth, B (Tiger) Squadron
  • Cdt Cpl Roberts – Barrow, F Squadron
  • Cdt Cpl Webster – Ashby, F Squadron

Senior Boys

  • Cdt S/Sgt Tubridy – Wellingborough, D Company
  • Cdt L/Cpl Hescott – Wellingborough, D Company

Additionally, the following cadets represented the Northern Ireland اور Scotland teams and will also receive National Colours:

  • Cdt Cpl Betts – Brentwood Road, B (Tiger) Squadron
  • Cdt L/Cpl Eccles – Loughborough, F Squadron
