Curso de Oficial de Condução de Exercícios

Successful completion of the course qualifies the Officer or Adult Instructor as an Exercise Conducting Officer (ECO) and for promotion from SI to SSI in the ACF and from Lt to Capt in the CCF. The attendance of this course does not automatically gain a promotion. All promotions are based on attitude, values and commitment past the qualifying courses.

Candidates must have attended Adult Induction (qualifying) courses unless exempt due to previous Regular or Reserve service.

Requirements for attending the Exercise Conducting Officers Course 

Aplicam-se os seguintes pré-requisitos:

• Teste de manuseamento de armas (WHT) com a espingarda L98A2 Cadet GP.
• WHT on the SBS, Smoke Grenade and Trip Flare.
• Tripflare WHT can be added on the course, if required.

Recommended preparation for attending the Exercise Conducting Officers Course 

Recomenda-se que os alunos efectuem também os seguintes procedimentos antes de frequentarem o curso:

• Have a level of fitness that will enable them to take part in up to 10 Battle Exercises per day, each approximately 200m in length and conducted at pace.
• Become familiar with the layout, headings and content of an EASP and an EAM.
• Have a level of IT literacy that enables Word documents to be created and manipulated, including the production of sketch maps.
• Have a familiarity with the cadet fieldcraft pamphlet, including basic section level tactics.
