Perth Army Cadets Take Part in Armistice Parade

Both Perth Detachments of the ਬਲੈਕ ਵਾਚ ਬਟਾਲੀਅਨ ਆਰਮੀ ਕੈਡਿਟ ਫੋਰਸ proudly took part in the Armistice Parade at the Tri-Service Memorial in Perth.

Joining veterans, serving personnel and members of the local community, our cadets stood together to pay their respects. It was an important opportunity to remember those who served, recognise their sacrifice and honour all who gave so much in the cause of freedom.

For our cadets, taking part in the parade was about much more than marching. It was an opportunity to reflect on the courage, dedication and sacrifice of generations who served before them.

Furthermore, standing alongside veterans and serving personnel helped reinforce the importance of remembrance and the responsibility we all share to keep their stories alive.

Through their participation, the cadets demonstrated the values at the heart of the Army Cadet Force: Respect, Loyalty, Integrity and Selfless Commitment.

Remembering Those Who Served

Remembrance plays an important part in developing our young people. It helps them understand the sacrifices made by others and the importance of service, duty and respect.

We are extremely proud of both Perth Detachments and the dignity, commitment and respect shown by our cadets throughout the parade.

Their participation was a fitting tribute to all those who served and sacrificed.
