Ypres Company ACS21 Training Weekend – Training, Teamwork and Halloween Fun!
Training, teamwork, new challenges and a touch of Halloween magic! Ypres Company enjoyed an action-packed weekend at Glenrothes Army Reserve Centre, bringing cadets together for an Army Cadet Syllabus (ACS21) Training Weekend.
The weekend provided an excellent opportunity for cadets to develop their knowledge, build confidence and strengthen friendships while working towards their Army Cadet training objectives.
Developing Skills, Confidence and Teamwork
Throughout the Ypres Company ACS21 Training Weekend, cadets took part in a range of training activities designed to develop their knowledge, practical abilities and understanding of the Army Cadet Syllabus.
As well as learning new skills, cadets had opportunities to work together, support one another and develop important personal qualities.
These experiences help build confidence, communication, teamwork and leadership. Furthermore, they encourage cadets to challenge themselves, take responsibility and make the most of every opportunity.
Importantly, training weekends also bring cadets together from across the Company, allowing them to share experiences, learn from one another and strengthen the friendships that make the Cadet experience so rewarding.
A Spooktacular Halloween Party!
However, it wasn’t all training and learning!
On Saturday evening, cadets swapped their training activities for a little Halloween fun as Ypres Company held a Halloween Party.
The evening brought plenty of spooky entertainment, laughter and opportunities for cadets to relax and enjoy time together away from their usual training activities. It was a fantastic way to round off a busy day!
Army Cadets: More Than Just Training
આ Ypres Company ACS21 Training Weekend perfectly demonstrates what being an Army Cadet is all about.
From developing practical skills and building confidence to making new friends and enjoying memorable experiences, the Army Cadets offers young people opportunities to grow, discover their potential and achieve more than they might have imagined.
A huge well done to all the cadets who took part. Equally, a big thank you goes to the Adult Volunteers whose time, commitment and enthusiasm made the weekend possible.
