Well-Deserved Promotions

Three cadets are celebrating well-deserved Army Cadet promotions following their continued hard work, commitment and positive contribution to the detachment.

Cadets Fraser and Westaby have been promoted to Cadet Lance Corporal, while Cadet Lance Corporal Whittaker has earned promotion to કેડેટ કોર્પોરલ.

These promotions are an important milestone for each cadet. More importantly, they recognise the effort, attitude and leadership potential they have demonstrated through their actions and performance.

Recognition for Hard Work and Commitment

Promotion within the Army Cadets is about much more than completing training. Instead, it reflects a cadet’s ability to demonstrate the qualities expected of someone taking on additional responsibility.

This includes:

  • Showing commitment and enthusiasm.
  • Maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Setting a good example to others.
  • Demonstrating leadership potential.
  • Supporting fellow cadets.
  • Being willing to accept greater responsibility.

As a result, each promotion represents an achievement to be proud of.

Beginning Their NCO Journey

For Fraser and Westaby, promotion to Cadet Lance Corporal marks the beginning of their journey as Junior Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs).

Their new roles provide an opportunity to develop their confidence and leadership skills while supporting other cadets. They will also have the chance to lead by example and demonstrate the standards expected of a Junior NCO.

Another Step Forward for Whittaker

For Cadet Corporal Whittaker, promotion to Corporal represents another significant step in her Army Cadet journey.

Having already demonstrated the qualities expected of an NCO, she will now take on increased responsibility within the detachment. Furthermore, her experience and leadership will provide an opportunity to support and encourage younger cadets as they develop.

ઉદાહરણ દ્વારા નેતૃત્વ

The Detachment Commander congratulated all three cadets and encouraged them to make the most of their new responsibilities:

“Wear your new ranks with pride, lead by example and continue to set the standards for others to follow.”

The message highlights an important part of being an NCO: promotion brings not only recognition but also responsibility, leadership and the opportunity to positively influence others.

Congratulations to Our Newly Promoted Cadets

A huge congratulations to Fraser, Westaby and Whittaker on their achievements.

Their promotions are thoroughly deserved and represent the beginning of another exciting chapter in their Army Cadet journey. We look forward to seeing them grow in confidence, develop their leadership skills and continue to Be More. Do More. Achieve More.
