The final parade was attended by senior officers, instructors, and proud families. Colonel Graham Thorne, Commanding Officer at CTC Frimley Park, who addressed the cadets at the final parade, praised their dedication:
“This week, you have been tested not just in knowledge and skills, but in character, resilience, and leadership. You have faced challenges that demanded you think critically, act firmly, and lead with integrity. You now carry the responsibility of being role models, not only within the cadets but within society itself.”
The Master Cadet Course is designed to prepare young people to take on leadership roles within their counties and beyond. Cadets learn to make decisions under pressure, support their peers, and uphold the highest standards of service.
Col Thorne encouraged cadets to take what they had learned into all areas of life, reminding them that leadership is not about rank or authority, but about inspiring others to be their best.
