Cowdenbeath Army Cadets,  Support the Scottish Poppy Appeal

Wind, rain or shine, our Army Cadets are always ready to make a difference!

Cowdenbeath Army Cadets, from Black Watch Battalion ACF, braved the Scottish weather to collect for the Scottish Poppy Appeal in Cowdenbeath.

Despite the challenging conditions, the Cadets demonstrated outstanding commitment, enthusiasm and community spirit. Their efforts are a fantastic example of young people making a positive difference in their local community.

Making a Difference in Our Community

Supporting the Scottish Poppy Appeal is an important way to remember the service and sacrifice of our Armed Forces community.

By giving up their time, Cowdenbeath Cadets are helping support this important cause. Their involvement also highlights the values that underpin the Army Cadet Force: respect, teamwork, commitment and service to others.

Being a cadet is about much more than training and adventure. It is also about developing responsibility, supporting others and contributing to the community.

Furthermore, turning out in difficult weather demonstrates the determination and positive attitude that make our Cadets such valued community members.

Be the Values. Be the Standards.

At Black Watch Battalion ACF, we encourage our Cadets to put their values into action, lead by example and make a meaningful contribution wherever they can.

Cowdenbeath Detachment has done exactly that!

A huge well done to every Cadet and Adult Volunteer involved. Your time, dedication and willingness to support this important appeal are greatly appreciated.

Remembering Those Who Served

The Scottish Poppy Appeal brings communities together to remember those who have served and to support the wider Armed Forces community.

Through their efforts, Cowdenbeath Army Cadets have demonstrated the importance of remembrance, community spirit and service to others.

We are proud of everyone who took part.

Be the Values. Be the Standards. Make a Difference.

Lest We Forget.
