Summer Camp Challenges

Summer Camp 2026 Day 1 is complete! Cadets enjoyed an exciting start with the Deputy Commandant's Challenge, fieldcraft training and teamwork as the adventure began.

Summer Camp 2026 Day 1: A Fantastic Start

Summer Camp 2026 Day 1 has come to an end, and what an incredible start it has been. From the moment activities began, our cadets embraced every challenge with enthusiasm, determination and teamwork, setting the tone for an unforgettable week.

The first day of camp offered the perfect opportunity for cadets to develop new skills, build confidence and strengthen friendships while enjoying everything that Army Cadet life has to offer.

A Day Full of Adventure

Today’s programme kept everyone busy with a range of exciting activities, including:

  • Deputy Commandant’s Challenge
  • Fieldcraft Training
  • In-Camp Training

Each activity encouraged cadets to work together, think creatively and demonstrate resilience. Throughout the day, they supported one another while developing valuable military and leadership skills in a fun and challenging environment.

Teamwork Makes the Difference

One of the highlights of Summer Camp 2026 Day 1 was the outstanding teamwork shown by our cadets. Whether tackling the Deputy Commandant’s Challenge or taking part in fieldcraft training, everyone gave their best and encouraged those around them.

These experiences not only develop practical skills but also build confidence, resilience and lasting friendships. As a result, every cadet has taken another step forward in their personal development.

Looking Forward to Day 2

Although Day 1 is now complete, the adventure is only just beginning. There are many more exciting activities, new challenges and unforgettable experiences waiting over the coming days.

After a well-earned rest, our cadets will be ready for another action-packed day of learning, teamwork and adventure.
