A team of 6 Cadet Force Adult Volunteers (CFAVs) and 26 cadets from LNR’s B (Tiger) and F Squadrons in Leicestershire supported a high-intensity training exercise, fully immersed in dynamic scenarios designed to mirror actual emergency incidents. From casualty simulations to emergency response operations, cadets played a key role in helping the exercise run smoothly.

With specialist teams on the ground and lights and sirens in action, cadets gained firsthand insight into how multi-agency responses operate under pressure. After the exercise, they explored equipment, asked questions, and learned directly from the professionals — a truly invaluable experience.

Captain Chris Evans ACF, Assistant County Training Officer, said: “It was a privilege to lead, and I’m glad we were able to deliver a valuable and enjoyable experience for our Senior Cadets and adults. The positive engagement and effort from all involved certainly contributed to the outcome.”

A huge thank you to all agencies involved for this opportunity. We’re proud of our cadets for rising to the challenge and look forward to the next one.
