A New Chapter in Leadership

Cadet Company Sergeant Major Elizabeth Allan has been promoted to Cadet Regimental Sergeant Major, taking on one of the Battalion’s highest Cadet appointments.

A huge congratulations to Cadet RSM Elizabeth Allan from Stanley Detachment on her promotion from Cadet Company Sergeant Major to Cadet Regimental Sergeant Major.

This is a significant achievement and marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter in Elizabeth’s Cadet journey. She now takes on one of the highest Cadet appointments within the Battalion, bringing with her the experience, commitment and leadership skills she has developed along the way.

A New Leadership Challenge

As Cadet Regimental Sergeant Major, Elizabeth will have an important role within the Battalion. Her new appointment provides an opportunity to lead, support and inspire fellow Cadets while continuing to develop her own leadership skills.

Moreover, reaching this level of responsibility reflects the hard work and dedication Elizabeth has shown throughout her time as a Cadet.

It is a role that carries responsibility, but it also provides an opportunity to make a positive difference to those around her.

Elizabeth takes over the appointment from Cadete Sargento-Mor do Regimento Joshua Hunter, who has now aged out of the Army Cadets.

Joshua has made a significant contribution during his time with the Battalion, demonstrating leadership, commitment and dedication to his fellow Cadets.

We would like to thank Joshua for everything he has given to the organisation and for the example he has set for those who follow.

As he begins the next chapter of his journey, we wish him every success for the future.

Wear your appointment with pride, lead by example, support your fellow Cadets and make the most of every opportunity that comes your way.

Leadership is not simply about wearing a rank slide. It is about setting standards, supporting others, listening, learning and helping those around you achieve their potential.

We are confident that Elizabeth will take on her new responsibilities with the same enthusiasm and commitment she has demonstrated throughout her Cadet journey.
