Fun, Friendship, Action and Adventure – this is what Oxfordshire Army Cadets Offers!
We offer adventure, skills and leadership opportunities to young people aged 12 and above. Home to over 500 cadets, 150+ adult volunteers across 18 detachments, cadets will experience various training such as fieldcraft, first aid, drill, community engagement and more – all while making lifelong friends and having fun.
Our passionate team of adult volunteers aged 18+ helps, guides, and inspires cadets while gaining their own skills and qualifications. Whether you are a young person looking for a new challenge or an adult wanting to give back, there’s a place for you in Oxfordshire ACF.

Oxfordshire (The Rifles) Army Cadets are recruiting for cadets and adult instructors. Cadets must be at least 12 years old. Come and join us for adventure, fun, friendships and gain valuable skills for life.

The Volunteer Joining Process >I joined the Army Cadets to give me some confidence as a 13-year-old lad, I stayed as a cadet for 5 years building up my confidence, skills and making many friends along the way. On turning 18 I became a CFAV and have been a CFAV for over 23 years.
