ਦ Black Watch Battalion Pipes and Drums is looking for new members to join our friendly and enthusiastic team. Whether you’re completely new to music or already have experience, we’d love to hear from you.
Best of all, no previous experience is required. We provide free tuition, helping you develop your musical skills while becoming part of a proud tradition.
Learn New Skills
Our instructors will guide you every step of the way. As you progress, you’ll build confidence, discipline and teamwork while learning to perform as part of a military-style band.
Members of the Pipes and Drums regularly perform at parades, ceremonial events, community celebrations and Army Cadet activities. As a result, you’ll gain unique experiences and create memories that last a lifetime.

We’re also looking for ਬਾਲਗ ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰ who can share their skills and experience with the next generation of musicians. Your knowledge could make a real difference by inspiring and mentoring young people while supporting one of the Battalion’s most recognisable detachments.
