A Well-Deserved Recognition – Congratulations, Captain Rob Morris

A proud milestone in a distinguished record of service! Captain Rob Morris has been awarded his 1st Clasp to the Cadet Forces Medal (CFM), celebrating his continued commitment and contribution to the Army Cadet Force. The presentation took place during an Officers’ Mess Dinner, with the award presented by Commandant, Colonel Melanie E Prangnell MBE.

A particularly important part of Rob’s contribution has been his passion for the musical side of the Army Cadets. Through his enthusiasm and hard work, he has been a strong advocate for cadet music, helping to ensure it remains a vibrant and valued part of cadet life.

From encouraging young musicians to develop their talents to promoting the pride, discipline and camaraderie that come from performing as part of an ensemble, Rob understands the many benefits music brings to the cadet experience.

Being involved in music is about much more than learning to play an instrument. It builds confidence, develops self-discipline, creates friendships and gives young people opportunities to perform, achieve and shine.

Behind the scenes, Rob has given countless hours to supporting cadet activities and creating opportunities for young people to develop their skills and fulfil their potential.

Congratulations, Rob, on receiving your 1st Clasp. A thoroughly deserved award and a fitting tribute to your continued commitment to Clwyd and Gwynedd Army Cadets and the young people you support.
