Black Watch Battalion cadets delivered a fantastic performance at the 51 Brigade Military Skills Competition, finishing 6th overall, 3rd Army Cadet Team and earning a Silver Award.

A massive well done to our cadets who took part in the 51 Brigade Military Skills Competition at Barry Buddon over the weekend.

Competing against teams from across the Brigade, our cadets demonstrated the importance of teamwork, determination, commitment and resilience throughout the competition.

The team delivered an impressive performance, finishing with:

These results reflect the hard work and preparation put in by the cadets, both before and throughout the competition.

Military skills competitions provide cadets with opportunities to put their training into practice. Furthermore, they challenge participants to work together, communicate effectively and remain focused under pressure.

Every member of the team has a part to play. From preparation and planning to supporting teammates and maintaining standards, teamwork makes the difference.

The weekend at Barry Buddon was another opportunity for our cadets to challenge themselves, develop their skills and demonstrate what they can achieve when they work together.
