As well as enjoying plenty of action and adventure, how about inspiring and leading young people to achieve things they never thought possible?

With over 40,000 cadets (aged 12-18) in over 1,600 locations in communities all around the UK, the Army Cadet Force (ACF) is one of the country's largest voluntary youth organisations. We have thousands of enthusiastic and committed adult volunteers - and we are currently looking for more to get involved across Wales.

As an adult volunteer you will be helping young people to develop their independence, confidence and the ability to step up to any challenge. You'll get involved in a wide range of exciting activities from rock climbing and target shooting to kayaking and mountain biking and get the opportunity to gain new skills and qualifications that will also benefit you outside of Cadets.

Yn ogystal â mwynhau llond gwlad o hwyl ac antur, beth am ysbrydoli ac arwain pobl ifanc i gyflawni y tu hwnt i’w breuddwydion?

Gyda dros 40,000 o gadetiaid (12-18 oed) mewn dros 1,600 o leoliadau mewn cymunedau ledled y DU, mae Cadetiaid y Fyddin yn un o sefydliadau ieuenctid gwirfoddol mwyaf y wlad. Mae gennym filoedd o oedolion brwdfrydig ac ymroddedig yn gwirfoddoli - ac rydym wrthi’n chwilio am fwy i gymryd rhan ledled Cymru.

Fel gwirfoddolwr, byddwch yn helpu pobl ifanc i ddatblygu eu hannibyniaeth, eu hyder a’r gallu i wynebu unrhyw her. Byddwch yn cymryd rhan mewn pob math o weithgareddau cyffrous, o ddringo creigiau a saethu targed i gaiacio a beicio mynydd a chewch gyfle i ddysgu sgiliau newydd ac ennill cymwysterau a fydd o fudd i chi y tu hwnt i’r Cadetiaid.

Don’t just take our word for it, hear more from our volunteers | Dyma farn y gwirfoddolwyr eu hunain:

No particular experience is required and we provide all necessary training. So if you can give up one or two evenings a week and you’re ready for the adventure of a lifetime, this could be exactly what you are looking for.
