Looking For Something Different in Sussex

THEN MAKE A DIFFERENCE WITH THE ARMY CADETS IN YOUR LOCAL AREA

As well as enjoying plenty of action and adventure, how about inspiring and leading young people to achieve things they never thought possible?

With around 1,000 cadets and volunteer instructors in 25 locations around Sussex, the Army Cadet Force (ACF) is one of the county's largest voluntary youth organisations. To enable us to train more cadets we are now on the hunt for more enthusiastic and committed adult volunteers to help out at our detachments.

As an adult volunteer you will be helping young people to develop their independence, confidence and the ability to step up to any challenge. You'll get involved in a wide range of exciting activities from abseiling to shooting and get the opportunity to gain new skills and qualifications that will also benefit you outside of the ACF.

No particular experience is required and we provide all necessary training. So if you can give up one or two evenings a week and the occasional weekend, and you're ready for the adventure of a lifetime, this could be exactly what you're looking for.

For more information about becoming a volunteer with the Army Cadets visit the volunteer section of the website, check out your nearest detachment, or register your interest today:
