As well as enjoying the great outdoors, how about challenging yourself and inspiring young people to achieve things they never thought possible?
With 39,000 cadets (aged 12-18) in over 1,600 locations in communities all around the UK, the Army Cadet Force (ACF) is one of the country's largest voluntary youth organisations. We have thousands of enthusiastic and committed adult volunteers - and we are currently on the hunt for more throughout Scotland.
As an adult volunteer you will be helping young people to develop their independence, confidence and the ability to step up to any challenge. You'll get involved in a wide range of exciting activities from kayaking to shooting and get the opportunity to develop new skills and qualifications that will also benefit you outside of Cadets.
So if you can give up one or two evenings a week and you're ready for the adventure of a lifetime, this could be exactly what you're looking for. Find out about some more of the benefits of volunteering.
