National Open Week

An invitation to Army Cadets Open Days

This year the Army Cadet Force is once again holding Open Day events across the country to give you the chance to come and find out what we are all about.

Open Day events will take place in various locations during our national Open Week from the 12th - 18th September 2016 and will be listed on this page as and when they are confirmed.

For action and adventure, fun and friendship, the Army Cadet Force is hard to beat. With 41,000 cadets (aged 12-18) and 9,500 adults in over 1,600 locations in every corner of the United Kingdom, the ACF is one of the country’s largest voluntary youth organisations.

So if you are thinking about helping and leading young people in your area by volunteering as an adult, or you think you may enjoy becoming an Army Cadet yourself, our Open Days are just for you. Parents are welcome too, of course!

What can you expect?

There will be demonstrations, presentations and the possibility of taking part in activities, plus you will have the opportuniy to ask questions and find out more about what makes the Army Cadets so popular.

We hope to see you there.
