The Inter-Service Cadet Rifle Meeting (ISCRM) and the Cadet…

ISCRM 2022 was originally to take place back in July of this year but unfortunately, due to fires in the danger area at Bisley Ranges, the event was postponed to 25-27 October 2022. There was a significant drop in entries for the re-scheduled dates but there were 150 cadets and CFAVs in attendance.

Cpl C. King of Shropshire ACF took home the Rifle Brigade Cup for top ACF Cadet in the Cadet 100 and Sgt I. McAree, also of Shropshire ACF, won the Wilson Trophy for Top ACF Cadet in the Grand Aggregate.

CISSAM took place over the 28-30 October and saw nine teams from the ACF competing with 200 cadets and CFAV in attendance. Seven ACF cadets made it into the Cadet 50 and received their Cadet 50 badge from Brigadier Holmes, Deputy Commander HQ RC

The Falling Plates match saw all teams from the SCC, ACF and RAFAC compete in a knock-out competition. Humberside & South Yorkshire B Coy successfully made it through to the semi-finals and then to the finals where we saw a thrilling three-way final between 34F Sqn RAFAC, Eastern Area A SCC and Humberside & South Yorkshire B Coy. Some accurate and steady firing from the ACF team saw them claim victory over the others.

Cpl W. Pybus of Humberside & South Yorkshire B Coy ACF won the HMS Malaya Trophy for Top ACF Cadet.

Warwickshire & West Midlands B Coy Team A were awarded bronze medals for Match 3: The Advance to Contact Match and Cpl R. Astle-Kelly and LCpl M. Uko came 3^rd in Match 4: The Rifle Pairs Match.
