Tuesday Takeover

On Tuesday Captain Louis Rudd hosted our Instagram Takeover. It was an interesting session and thank you to everyone who tuned in.

Next week we will be joined by Lance Corporal Fern Davies from the Royal Logistics. Fern also played netball for Wales at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. It’s sure to be a smasher, so make sure you tune in (19.00hr Tuesday 7 July).

Merseyside Cadet hero’s

This week a group of CCF and ACF Cadets, witnessed an elderly man sitting on a park bench, bleeding after being attacked. Quickly, these fast-thinking youngsters sprung into action and administered first aid to the victim. You can read all about it here.

What a creative bunch!

Cadets from Stanley Detachment, Black Watch Bn ACF, weren’t going to let lockdown bring them down. They’ve been busy making some great posters that demonstrate what their favourite thing about Cadets is. These have now been included in a short recruitment film. Well done to you all

Learning new skills

Cadets from Parkstone Detachment have been busy developing skills during lockdown. Here you can see them learning how to use sign language. Nice one team.

Earth to the International Space Station

Cadet Harris from Widnes Detachment, Cheshire ACF, set himself a mammoth task of cycling the distance from the Earth to the International Space Station – What a fantastic achievement, well done.
