Farewell RSM
On Thursday we said farewell to RSM Frimley Park, David Lightfoot. RSM joined our Ambassador Jordan Wylie for a special Instagram Takeover on Tuesday evening to say goodbye.
“It has been my honour to work with so many of our Cadets and CFAVs during my three year post as RSM Frimley Park. I leave with many memories and a greater appreciation for the work the Cadet Forces deliver.” WO1 David Lightfoot – RSM Frimley Park.
We would all like to thank David for his dedication and commitment to the Army Cadets over the past three years and wish him all the best for the future.
Cadet Colour Sergeant Amy North
Congratulations done to Cadet Colour Sergeant Amy North from Beds and Herts ACF who won The Riles In This Together virtual bugle competition on Saturday. The competition drew entries from the Regular and Reserves Army’s, Veterans and Cadets. To top things off, CFAV Bugle Major Damon Farnell came second to make it a top two for the Army Cadets. Well done to both!
VE Day Bunting
To help mark the 75th Anniversary of VE Day we have been getting creative with the BBC and encouraging you all to and make your own VE Day Bunting. It was great to see Captain Christina Deans, Battalion Training Officer, Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders ACF getting involved.
So we are so excited about this that we got started today already. More pics to follow #VEDay75 #virtualACF #GreatBritishBunting @AandSH_ACF https://t.co/KApvUuXzHl pic.twitter.com/wYynPvW03i
