WHAT'S BEEN GOING ON?

Catch up on what has been going on over the past 7 days!

24 July 2020

This week we were joined on our Instagram takeover by Dave Heeley, AKA Blind Dave; the first blind person to complete the seven Marathon challenge. It was a great evening and we hope you found listening to Dave as inspiring as we did.

Next week will be the last of our Lockdown Instagram takeovers (don’t worry, we’ll be back with some more in the future), and we will be joined by Brigadier Mark Christie and Colonel Stuart Williams.

Virtual ACF

Congratulations to Somme Company for leading the way in the ACF Virtual mile in Scotland.

The team at Dumfries Detachment have not let lockdown and the cancellation of annual camps spoil their fun. They’ve been taking part in an exciting challenge everyday, including a camp-out in their own gardens. Nice one team!

Big shout-out to Lcpl Amy Lindsley from Harraby Detachment, Cumbria ACF. Who came to the aid of one of her neighbours who had been injured in the street. She assisted with first aid skills until paramedics arrived.

How exciting is this - Middlesex and North West London ACF are having a virtual annual camp - Exercise New Horizons and they’ve got so much awesome stuff planned. Have a great time team!

Keep sharing everything you have been up to at home across our Social Media channels using #VirtualACF #Keeptheflamealive #CadetForceResilience
