Thanks to ACF and CCF for generous donations

18 June 2012

The Army Cadet Force has received a letter of thanks today from Lieutenant Colonel (Ret'd) Crichton Wakelin OBE for his retirement lunch in London last Thursday (14th June) and for the generous gifts he was presented with. A significant number of Col Crichton's colleagues from the Army Cadet Force (ACF) and the Combined Cadet Force (CCF) donated to the gift fund and he has asked us to extend his letter of thanks to all who contributed.

Throughout the past 11 years Col Crichton has painstakingly driven the modernisation and development of the Army's cadet forces as part of the Army's Cadet Branch, HQ Support Command.  Col Crichton will be sorely missed by many members of the ACF and CCF and we wish him a long and happy retirement.
