"Step Up To Serve" campaign launched to help recognise and support young people

21 November 2013

The Army Cadet Force Association is supporting the new Step Up To Serve campaign to help recognise and support young people.

The campaign is being launched through #iwill - a unique initiative involving HRH, the Prince of Wales and the three main political party leaders along with businesses, education institutions, faith groups, youth organisations (including the cadet forces) and voluntary groups across the UK.

Army Director Youth and Cadets, Brigadier (Ret'd) David Keenan comments: “As a member of the Youth United network the ACF is backing the Step up to Serve campaign which aims to increase the number of young people participating in social action to over 50% by 2020. We are exploring how we can work with Youth United to support the #iwill initiative and help to increase the number of opportunities for young people to benefit from the cadet experience.”
