Diamond Anniversary of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award - flag a DofE activity

4 January 2016

To celebrate the Diamond Anniversary of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, the Army Cadet Force Association is asking counties to celebrate the variety of activities that we offer our cadets by highlighting those which count towards DofE volunteering, physical, skills, expedition and residential sections.

Each county will be issued with an ACFA DofE flag and it’s up to you to be imaginative with how you would like to ‘flag’ your DofE activity and showcase what your cadets have been doing between January and December 2016.

What you need to do
Get out there and take photos of your cadets with the flag while taking part in DofE activities! Photos can be submitted via social media using #ACFADofE or emailed to DofE@armycadets.com. There is no limit to the number of photographs that each county or unit can submit.
The best photographs will be collated into an album to commemorate the occasion and presented to HRH The Duke of Edinburgh at the end of the Diamond Anniversary so make sure your county is represented!

Our flag suppliers, United Flags, have offered a prize of a ceremonial standard to the unit who supplies the most unusual, exciting or brilliant picture featuring cadets/CFAVs and the ACFA DofE flag.
