Two Army Cadets and one of their volunteer adult leaders were interviewed on BBC London 94.9 yesterday evening (Sunday 11 November) talking about life in the Army Cadets and what they had been doing to mark Remembrance Weekend.
16-year-old Navneeta Tiwari, 15-year-old Manjeet Jaswal and adult volunteer Priscilla Ledlie told presenters Sunny and Shay about their action-packed weekend - selling poppies, attending a parade and church service, and enjoying a buffet with the Royal British Legion, before heading to the BBC's studios for their radio interview. They also talked about how they came to be in the cadets, the difference it had made to their lives and how it fitted with their faith.
