BAE Recognising Excellence Awards - Nominations now open for cadets and adult volunteers

13 July 2015

The Army Cadet Force Association has launched a new awards ceremony to acknowledge and highlight the hard work and dedication of cadets and adult volunteers. Sponsored by BAE Systems, the Recognising Excellence Awards will recognise the top cadet and most deserving CFAV across five different categories:

  • National Sports
  • Duke of Edinburgh's Award
  • First Aid
  • Piping & Drumming
  • Bands and Corps of Drums

Nominations are now open for each category.

How to nominate a cadet or CFAV:

If you would like to nominate someone please email your CEO or Commandant with the name of the nominee and the reason they should be nominated. Please read the full criteria for nominees and state how your nominee meets the criteria. Commandants will then select the best nomination in each category and send these into ACFA where the national winner will be selected. Your Commandant will be returning nominations before the end of September so you will need to get nominations to them early to ensure they can be considered.

The national winner in each category will be invited to the ACFA Dinner in London, with accommodation and travel included.
