Army Cadet Force volunteers recognised in the Queen's New Year Honours List

Two ACF adult volunteers have been been granted state honours by Her Majesty The Queen in the annual New Year Honours List.

Huge congratulations go to Colonel Ashley Fulford, Commandant of Devon ACF and ACFA DofE panel chairman, who has been apointed as an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) and to Captain Susan Karran, Nursing Officer with Cheshire ACF, appointed as a Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE).

A former Derbyshire ACF Commandant, Colonel Mike Cheetham, who now works tirelessly for SSAFA in Derbyshire, was also awarded an MBE in the New Year Honours List.

We are also pleased to announce that Colonel Timothy Richmond MBE TD DL (Vice Chairman of the National Council of RFCAs and former Chairman of East Midlands RFCA) and Colonel Carron Snagge (Chief Executive of Yorkshire and the Humber RFCA) were both awarded OBEs for their services to the Reserve Forces and Cadet Associations.
