Network Rail are hoping to encourage more cadets from across all the cadet forces to take part in their exciting advanced apprenticeship scheme in engineering.
Aaron Gracey, Armed Forces Engagement Manager at Network Rail, said “Network Rail recognises the skills and behaviours that young people learn during their time with the cadet forces. The attention to detail, safety focus and team work that they display on a daily basis, along with their core values of trust, selflessness and personal resilience are vital attributes in the workplace. Our apprenticeship scheme offers them the chance to build on these attributes and challenge themselves to build an amazing career in industry, while building the future railway of Great Britain.”
Applicants must be over 18 on 1st October 2016, to apply for this year's scheme. To apply, candidates should have the equivalent of four GCSEs A*-C including English, Maths and Science or Engineering.
More information about the scheme is available on the Network Rail website.
