Revision Challenge 2017-2018

16 November 2017

The Revision Challenge is underway for another year. Sign up now to compete against other detachments and see who can raise the most money for ABF The Soldiers' Charity!

The Revision Cadet Challenge is a unique, UK-wide competition for cadets and adult volunteers to raise money for soldiers, former soldiers and their families.

The competition runs from June to June, and the winner is the detachment that raises the most amount of money for ABF The Solders' Charity over the course of the year. Detachments simply register and submit any monies raised towards their total, which is tallied up at the end of the year. The winners are presented with the coveted Revision Trophy at a prize-giving ceremony in London.

Last year, the Tiverton detachment from Devon ACF won the trophy (for the second year in a row). Their fundraising events included a raffle, open evenings, climbing the height of Ben Nevis on a climbing wall and, interestingly, a seven-kilometre log run - that log was 50 kilograms. We don't want to worry other detachments, but Tiverton have already begun their fundraising for 2017-18...

ABF The Soldiers’ Charity helps more than 5,000 people annually. The assistance it provides includes hardship relief – such as mobility assistance and home modifications – helping those with critical injuries to live a full life.
