About This Job

This is an exciting creative media role in Army Cadet Headquarters within our expanding Media and Communications team. The role has a specific focus on creative media and photography for the Army Cadets.

We are looking for a professional to bring their skills, enthusiasm, creativity, and personal credibility to the growing team. The position offers opportunity for travel around the UK and on occasion trips abroad.

Essential Skills

  • A recognised qualification in videography or Video Editing or proven success creating high quality promotional/instructional videos
  • Evidence of continued personal and professional development
  • A good understanding of motion graphics and video creation
  • Creativity and eye for detail in both still and moving image.
  • Experience working with internal and external partners and developing good working relationships.
  • Excellent technical skills, using digital cameras and industry standard software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Lightroom and Photoshop
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Effective IT skills
  • Strength in working under pressure, juggling workloads and meeting deadlines
  • Demonstrable success in establishing effective working relationships.
  • Ability to work on own initiative to agreed objectives.
  • Enthusiasm, flexibility and innovation.
  • Personal credibility and confidence.
  • Discretion and sensitivity.

Our charity

ACCT UK is a national youth charity dedicated to improving the life chances of young people. The Combined Cadet Force Association (CCFA) is a charity dedicated to the promotion of the ideals and activities of the Combined Cadet Force in schools. Together we want to ensure that every young person has the opportunity to learn new skills, build confidence and be inspired through their cadet experience.

We want to develop the youth leadership and training abilities of adult volunteers whilst also helping young people to access cadet activities through fundraising, grant-making, developing new resources and direct support.
