Greater Manchester Army Cadet Force Hosts Tri-Service Shooting Competition

Greater Manchester Army Cadet Force hosted a Tri Service shooting Competition in memory of Col Axford, OBE at Holcombe Moor Training Centre from 12-14 April to allow Tri service (Army Cadets, Sea Cadets, Marine Cadets and Air Cadets) to compete in the Competition.

The presentations to the prize winners were presented by our Hon Col Sharman Birtles MBE JP DL, Vice Lord-Lieutenant in the presence of our Commandant, Col Paul Smillie.

A brilliant weekend with all the cadets mixing and making friends with each other.

Capt Paul Anderton, County Shooting Officer said, “A huge thanks to everyone from the different cadet services who worked hard to make the weekend a huge success. Your teamwork and effort really paid off. Looking forward to working together again in the future.”
