On Saturday, Andy Craig was honored with a prestigious award from Ten Tors HQ for his committment and service. The award was recieved on his behalf from Maj Mandy Calaz<\/p>\n
On Friday, Commandant Colonel Pete White presented Major Mandy Calaz with her long service clasp for 30 years of dedicated service. Additionally, Dave Mangham received his King Charles coronation medal and an ACCT UK Praiseworthy Action certificate for his commendable response to a medical incident in Poland.<\/p>\n
The inaugural Capt Mark Calaz award was presented to Cdt Sgt Dylan Mead, recognising him as the cadet who best embodied the Core Cadet Values and Standards throughout this year’s Ten Tors event. Cdt Cains was also acknowledged with a Commandant’s coin for his outstanding attitude and application during Ten Tors 25.<\/p>\n
On Friday evening, we participated in a start line reconnaissance followed by a reflection service led by Padre Lorraine. She emphasised the determination and resilience the cadets had shown just to reach the start line and provided them with thoughts to ponder during the event when challenges arose.<\/p>\n
On Friday afternoon, the Wiltshire ACF camp had the honour of being visited by the Chief of the General Staff, General Sir Roland Walker. He expressed interest in speaking with a Ten Tors team manager, and SI Ian Johnson had the opportunity to engage in a fruitful ten-minute discussion with him about the ACF and Ten Tors.
