Yn 15 oed, dechreuais fy nghais i ymuno \u00e2&#039;r fyddin tra bod pawb arall yn gwneud cais i&#039;r coleg a&#039;r chweched dosbarth ac ati, roedd yn broses hir gyda llawer o alwadau ff\u00f4n i recriwtwyr a theithiau i Gaeredin ar gyfer fy asesiad. <\/p>\n<p>Ar \u00f4l methu ddwywaith ar sail feddygol, llwyddais gyda gradd A yn y ganolfan asesu y trydydd tro, ac rwyf ar fin dechrau hyfforddiant cam un ar Fawrth 12.<sup>fed<\/sup>, 2023. Mae&#039;n gyffredin bod y chwe wythnos gyntaf o hyfforddiant ymhlith yr anoddaf wrth i chi fynd i ffordd newydd o fyw ac nid yw&#039;r rhan fwyaf o bobl wedi arfer cael gwybod ble a sut y gallant wneud pethau. Mae sioc cael eu dal hefyd yn taro llawer o bobl yn galed tra bod hiraeth am adref hefyd yn rhoi problem fawr i lawer wrth i chi fod i ffwrdd o gartref am amser hir. <\/p>\n<p>Ar \u00f4l bod yn y cadetiaid am 4 blynedd roeddwn i eisoes wedi arfer bod i ffwrdd o adref am hyd at bythefnos ar y tro, felly doedd gwneud 6 wythnos ddim yn beth mawr i mi yn bersonol. Ar ben hynny, dangosodd bod ar lawer o wahanol ganolfannau milwrol o wersylloedd penwythnos a gweld milwyr yn gwasanaethu&#039;n rheolaidd i mi sut olwg sydd ar bethau yn y lleoedd hynny, a gwnaeth hynny i mi ymgartrefu&#039;n gyflymach. <\/p>\n<p>Ar \u00f4l 6 wythnos o ddiwrnodau hir a hyfforddiant dwys, mae&#039;r cyfan yn talu ar ei ganfed pan gewch eich Par\u00ead Pasio sy&#039;n dod \u00e2 gwobrau a dyrchafiadau i rengoedd iau o fewn eich cwmni. Fodd bynnag, prif ran y Par\u00ead Pasio yw eich bod chi i gyd yn cael eich rhyddhau i fynd i weld eich rhieni ar y diwedd ac yn mynd adref am wythnos o wyliau.<\/p>\n<p>Hyd yn hyn, ers 32 wythnos, rydw i wedi cwblhau 5 ymarfer, teithio i Ffrainc am daith i weld realiti\u2019r rhyfel, cwblhau fy ngwobr efydd DofE, helpu yn Sioe Swydd Efrog a llawer mwy o fod yn AFC Harrogate gan ennill cymwysterau a sgiliau bywyd a fydd yn para am oes.<\/p>\n<p>Os ydych chi&#039;n rhoi eich hun yn iawn mewn cadetiaid ac eisiau dysgu, yna mae cadetiaid o gymorth mawr ar y dechrau gan eich bod chi eisoes yn gwybod llawer o&#039;r pethau sylfaenol, felly dydych chi ddim yn teimlo fel eich bod chi&#039;n cael cannoedd o bethau newydd yn cael eu taflu atoch chi ar unwaith a gallwch chi ganolbwyntio ar ddysgu pethau newydd nad oeddech chi&#039;n eu gwybod a gwella&#039;r pethau roeddech chi eisoes yn eu gwybod.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am Max Robinson and I joined AFC Harrogate at 16 years old to be an Infantry soldier in the Royal Yorkshire Regiment.
