Army Cadets from across the county headed to Pirbright this week to take part in their Annual Camp. The first five days of camp are almost over and the sunny weather might finally have vanished, but that isn't stopping our cadets from enjoying the wide number of activities on offer over the 12 day camp. Our cadets have been testing their navigation skills by taking to the trails across the Surrey downs, learning new water sports skills at Hawley Lake and getting out into field to polish their leadership and teamworking skills.
This year, around 300 cadets from all of our detachments are taking part, and many of these cadets got the change to speak to our guests on Thursday 9 August as they travelled around the many activities on offer this year. And all this wouldn't be possible without the wonerful support of the 90 volunteers and staff who have joined the cadets on camp this year.
